Great boards are highly effective and comprised of directors who are individually ethical, collaborative, independent-minded, and possess sound judgment. Collectively, their members are composed of a diverse range of functional expertise, perspectives, industry experiences, geographic knowledge, communication and collaboration styles, educational qualifications, and a mix of gender, age, and ethnicity. Such boards are better equipped to provide advice and consultation from multiple experiences and perspectives, which improves the quality of decision-making and contributes to stronger performance.
Lansdowne Board Intelligence is a specialized recruiting and advisory firm that is 100% dedicated to the work of boards.

The demands and expectations placed upon directors have never been greater as boards navigate the ‘new reality’ of increased regulatory scrutiny, evolving governance practices, shareholder activism, board inequality, and heightened pressure to perform. Today, more then ever before, the value of diverse perspectives, experiences, and skills have become vital to an organization’s competitiveness, growth, survival, and therefore, relevance.
Lansdowne Board Intelligence is committed to delivering the most qualified and most diverse slate of candidates possible for each and every assignment. We work rigorously and creatively to deliver a gender-balanced slate; in each case tailored specifically to the requirements of the search. In the event that this balance is unachievable, we will provide a detailed report outlining the specific reasons why, as well as strategies for rectifying the gaps.
Let us help you to go beyond the traditional networks of ‘known’ candidates, to access a broad base of qualified, diverse, independent, and relevant candidates, who represent the ‘right fit’ for your company’s specific business needs.
